Error 1935 is a common error that people may face when they are installing a new version of MS Office or upgrading from a previous version of Office. This error is likely to be a cause of windows registry keys, .NET framework’s broken installation or incompatibility. Follow the simple steps below to resolve the issue of installation error 1935 in MS Office 2010:

1. Press Windows Key+R and type “regedit” without quotes and press enter, allow admin permission if asked

2. Now in Registry Editor window in the left pane click HKEY_CURRENT_USER to expand it and find Software click on it and find Microsoft in the list and click on it to expand

3. Scroll down to find the Office folder, select this folder (Office) and right click delete.

4. Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then Software then Microsoft scroll down untill you see folders Office & OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform

5. Right click on them and delete.

6. Now close the Registry Editor and restart your computer and try to install the Office again.

12. At last if all above steps fails, then you have last option to upgrade or install a fresh copy of windows and then install MS Office 2010.
